The beauty of natural makeup is how it is can be infused with organic and natural makeup ingredients like Shea Butter, Jojoba oil & essential oils. In a nutshell, natural mineral makeup is good for you inside and out.

What is mineral makeup?

Mineral makeup first entered the commercial market in the 1970s and is one of the earliest forms of ‘natural’ makeups.

Its history goes all the way back to ancient cultures, which used ground-up minerals to apply colour and shading to the skin for decorative, camouflage, war paint or religious purposes.

Today, an amazing combination of minerals, such as iron, talc, zinc and titanium dioxide are ground and milled into tiny particles. Mineral foundation is often recommended for those with sensitive, acne-prone or post-procedural skin.

Why is mineral makeup good for anti-aging and sensitive skin?

One of the main differences between conventional makeup and mineral makeup is what's not in mineral makeup.

Most mineral makeups forgo the emollient oils, waxes, fragrance and preservative ingredients found in conventional formulations, which make it preservative and fragrance free, and thereby less irritating for many makeup wearers.

What’s more, mineral makeup has skin-soothing, anti-inflammatory properties due to the presence of zinc oxide and iron oxide. It also has minor sunscreen benefits (again, the zinc is to thank for that), although sunscreen is still highly recommended as one of the best methods to prevent premature aging.

Will suit fair skin

I already have 2 colours and just purchased the pink. It looks nothing like the pictures shown. It is sooo light it made my lips look nude which doesn’t suit my medium skin tone.
Quality is beautiful but not true to colour. Will have to give it away.

Too sparkly

I bought this based on the reviews and one read that even the lightest colour was too dark. So I ordered number one.
It is way too light and feels more like a highlighter because when you try to build it the shimmer looks like a disco ball.
Another disappointment as far as bronzers go. After 2 years and about 200 dollars I still can’t find one that looks natural and is good for your skin.
This will suit young skin cause the shimmer set into my fine lines. I’m mid 40 s so didn’t suit me at all.
