Film & TV makeup artist Lisa Watson, creator of

This week's question:
"When I go to parties my makeup never lasts long enough, and
even if it does last till those early hours it never looks anything
close to good. How can I make myself look halfway decent after a
long night of partying?" - Ellisha
Lisa's Answer:
"This is a great question! There are some serious factors to
consider here, i.e. –
1. Getting your skin well hydrated all day prior to the big night
out to give you a head start. Drinking plenty of water (at least 1.5
to 2 litres) and a nice hydrating facial mask..."

About Lisa
Lisa Watson has been working professionally as a make-up
artist since 1997. Her work can be seen in ‘George of the
Jungle II’, ‘The Lost World I’, ‘Beastmaster II & III’, ‘Cybergirl’,
‘Mermaids’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘The John Laws Show’,
‘Better Homes and Gardens’ and feature films on a freelance
basis such as ‘Scooby-Doo’, ‘Ghost Ship’, ‘Peter Pan’, and
‘Walk the Talk’.
Lisa studied make-up at the 3 Arts College of Make-up in
Sydney for one year, during which she began working as a
freelance make-up artist on photographic advertising shoots,
whilst also gaining work experience on feature film sets
such as Babe II – A Pig in the City. From there, Lisa moved
to Brisbane to further her education in the skill of hair
styling. Whilst living and studying in Brisbane, Lisa
entered the film and television industry and pathed the way
to her career as it stands now.
Lisa has worked on national (Australian) celebrities ranging
from Joanna Griggs, Brooke Satchwell, Susie O’Neill, Noni
Hazlehurst and Ita Buttrose to Matt Newton, Tim Freedman
frpm The Whitlams (see photo above!), David Campbell, Geoff Huegill, Ernie Dingo
and Sam Worthington plus numerous other international
actors. Lisa currently divides her time between issada
(exclusive make-up brush business), freelance work for
Channel 7, current films in production, and photographic
advertising and fashion shoots.
